Falls Festival is a multi-day music festival held annually in locations across Australia – Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, and Western Australia over the New Year period. It is one of the biggest musical festivals in Oceania, bringing together some of the most popular acts in the world. The festival hosts contemporary music performances, dance and other art forms. Artists playing at the festival include techno, rock, hip hop, indie music, electronic music, blues, and roots.
BRIEF
We were tasked to design and develop a web experience for the festivals post Covid come back in 22/23.
Our design approach was to create a minimal, mobile first interpretation of the festivals poster. Keeping it clean and to the point to allow the most straight forward of user journeys. Having an emphasis on building subscribers in the lead up and funnelling punters to the relevant ticketing pages offsite.
The site required 3x seperate city experiences to provide location specific content for festival goers. The site was large in scale to accomodate the 3 unique lineups and location settings.
